Alpha Recruitment are based in a purpose designed a 21st century, state of the art environment in the heart of Sheffield and are now seeking a Business Development Manager to joining our highly successful team.

Working in a full 360 recruitment consultant role you will be responsible for:

• Filling vacancies to varying lead times as requested by the client, with White Collar candidates.
• Maintaining our outstanding business reputation in all communications, through the delivery of a quality consultative service
• Consulting with clients and candidates to facilitate the placement of the right people in the right roles
• Developing prosperous business relationships with new and existing clients, to gain additional business and develop a profitable desk
• Maintaining our outstanding business reputation in all communications, through the delivery of a quality consultative service
• Managing your own client databases and delivering excellent, pro-active customer service, ensuring requirements are consistently met
• Growing our client and candidate base through telephone and face to face business development activity and advertising
• Achieving agreed individual targets and KPIS and reporting these to management on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.

Skills and Experience
• A proven and impressive new business track record.
• High level sales experience within a customer facing environment.
• Experience in construction/engineering sales would be advantageous.
• Proven listening, negotiating and influencing skills.
• Proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills, meticulous attention to detail and a proven ability to multi-task.
• Able to meet tight deadlines and remain calm under high pressure.
• Ability to carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision and thrive both on own initiative and as part of a team.
