An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a fantastic main contractor around London.
Our client is a local Management Contractor specialising in Commercial projects.
Due to the award of multiple large commercial projects, they are looking to recruit a Site Manager to be based in the West Central London area.
They are working on a New Build Social Housing project and are looking for a Site Manager with the experience and knowledge to run this.
The role consists of:
- Assisting the Contracts Manager with pre-start meetings
- Reporting to the Project / Contracts Manager on the progress against the programme
- Maintenance of company required Health & Safety procedures / initiatives including PPE, Site Inductions, Management of Method Statements/Risk Assessments, Work Permits.
- Compliance with the Company quality standards including Management of defects, compliance with specification, compliance with materials / workmanship schedules, subcontractor code of conduct.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Maintaining and update Construction Phase Health & Safety plan.
- To assist in the management of project specific preliminaries
- Coordinating the Sub-Contractors as appropriate
To be shortlisted for this role you must have previous Site Manager Experience working on New Build Social housing projects.
To be successful you must hold a valid SMSTS, CSCS as well as First Aid at work qualifications.
