Foreman Shopfitting

Our client is a well-established design and build contractor specialising in projects ranging from large PLC companies through to individual retail outlets.

We are currently seeking an experienced Working Foreman with extensive shopfitting experience to work on varied sites nationwide, ensuring all works are carried out to highest standards and all snagging works are signed off as complete, When not based on site, you will be based out the main office in Sheffield overseeing projects.

This would suit someone who is looking to progress to a contracts managers role

Projects are fast-track fit-out to a varied client base where you will manage associated subcontractors. You will need to have relevant experience and come from a Joinery/Shop fitting background. A van  and expenses will be provided and accommodation paid for when working away. 

• Managing all aspects of the construction process.
• Ensure the project is completed safely, on time and within budget.
• Organise and manage all site activities.
• Responsible for the snagging of all works.
• Ensure Health and Safety is adhered to at all times.
• Work in association with Project Managers to ensure contract requirements and deadlines are met.
• Work within the project team to ensure delivery of requirements and all work meets required standards.
• Ensure all paperwork for project is kept up to date
• Report to the Project Manager
• Managing sub trades

Person Specification

• At least 3 years Working Experience Foreman role.
• Enthusiastic / Hard working and Knowledgeable
• Thorough with attention to detail
• SMSTS/SSSTS Qualification
• CSCS Card
• First Aid at work is an advantage
• Joinery background.
• You will need an excellent level of experience running projects
• Willingness to travel to various locations as job may require.
• Understanding of Shopfitting/Fit-out/Joinery works
