Contracts Manager

Alpha Recruitment are currently seeking a Contracts Manager on behalf of one of our clients (principal contractor) based in Lincolnshire.

Our Client is a highly established principal contractor throughout the construction industry. They specialise mainly in design and build contracts, most commonly within the construction and maintenance of  schools, fire stations and various commercial properties.

Main responsibilities include

• Liaising with clients, professional staff (such as architects and surveyors) and the public.
• Supervising contracted staff and overseeing multiple projects.
• Oversee and liaise with subcontractors.
• Making safety inspections and ensuring construction/ site safety is complied with.
• Checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings.
• Maintaining quality control procedures.
• Motivating the workforce.
• Problem solving.
• Attending weekly/ monthly progress meetings.
• Meet agreed specifications as per drawings.

This will be a temporary to permanent position for the right candidate. A package will be confirmed at interview stage.  

The successful candidates will hold:

• SMSTS/ SSSTS
• CSCS (Management)
• HNC or equivalent in construction management or similar
• Substantial experience of contracts management ideally within a main contractors organisation
