- Description
The Role:
Our client is a multi-discipline industrial service provider that offers a comprehensive range of thermal and acoustic insulation services to the power generation and petrochemical industries. Due to an increase in orders our client currently requires industrial sewing machinists to assist in the manufacture of flexible insulation products at their Head Office in Nottingham.
Duties involve:
- Working to specification sheets, ensuring high quality and a safe environment is maintained
- Cutting various material using templates and sewing covers together once insulation material is inside.
- Working with industrial manufacturing equipment
- General housekeeping duties
The flexible insulation products vary in size and they are used in a wide range of industries.What we require:
All applicants will require at least 1 year experience in an industrial role. You must be able to provide 2 checkable work references.
Current & valid identification must be provided before starting employment. This includes but not limited to the following; Passport or Driving License with full Birth Certificate, for EU citizens National ID card, or valid EU passport must be supplied.
Successful candidates will be required to carry out a sewing test upon interview stage and this position has the potential to become permanent after a 3 month probationary period.Important Information:
Hours of work: 8.5 hours a day Monday- Thursday, 5.5 hours on Friday. Possibility of overtimeParking: This is available on location
