Electrical Project Manager

My client are tendering and winning many projects, and due to the influx of projects and opportunities, there are no shortage of positions available across the UK.

We are currently seeking a project manager working out from our clients Nottingham office.

Key Accountabilities:

• To lead the Project Team with a fully integrated and dynamic relationship between design, construction and commercial activities. To take overall responsibility for all project outcomes.
• To work positively and collaboratively with clients, stakeholders and to develop affordable designs that deliver
• To make Health, Safety and the Environment their first priority in all decisions and actions. To be a Positive Safety Leader.
• To plan, manage and deliver all construction activities in an efficient and cost effective manner
• Demonstrate a positive can do` attitude at all times whilst understanding the impact of decisions on all aspects of the project / contract.
• To fully understand design / procurement / construction / completion planning, programming and progress reporting.
• Be a positive team builder, care for staff and actively engage in staff feedback and development.
• To take responsibility and ownership for the entire project and to be proud of what they and the team are achieving.
• To regularly meet and communicate the project plan to the supply chain to ensure that they are fully engaged in the successful delivery of the project goals.

Previous Experience:

• Demonstrable leadership skills
• Detailed Knowledge of H&S
• Experience of project management: delivering high-end projects
• Excellent communication, facilitation, presentation and organisation skills
• Experience managing teams on site and interfacing with internal and external teams.
• Proven ability to set strategic goals and have the ability to produce implementation plans that deliver the goals.

Requirements:

• A strong record of site management
• CSCS Black Card
• SMSTS
• First Aid at Work
• Computer literate
• Asbestos Awareness is advantageous but not essential
