- Description
Recruiting on behalf of a prestigious client who has witnessed exponential growth in the last 6 months after placing an experienced business development manager within the business. This opportunity offers considerable career progression based upon personal success.
Essential
- A hard working self motivated candidate who is able to work independently or part of a team as required.
- From a trade background, preferably time served from an commercial electrical contracting business.
- Experience in commercial and industrial installations, with a greater emphasis on the commercial side.
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
- The ability to work from first principles, and be able to scope work from a blank canvas.
- A problem solver rather than a problem maker
- Computer literate, proficiency with estimating systems an advantage, and proficient in the use of excel
- Able to produce bespoke tender bids, or work from a client’s scope or specification
- Electrical tenders of varying complexity up to a value of 5 million pounds
- Have an appreciation of design & build in the electrical industry, and be able to understand how to modify and adapt electrical schematics and circuit drawings
- Have experience with Fire/access/intruder/cctv
- Have transferable contacts, and can bring new business to the company
- Be motivated under pressure and work in a fast paced environment
- Excellent time management skills, and be able to work to deadlines to meet crucial KPI's.
Desirable
- A positive attitude, with a genuine desire to succeed
- Ability to project manage, use of MS project
- Working knowledge of NEC, and JCT forms of contract and other forms of contract
- Some knowledge of CAD
- 18th Edition of IEE regs or working towards
- Use of Amtech CM suite
- Can develop trainees and mentor individuals as required
- Live within the Leeds metropolitan area, or willing to relocate as required
Remuneration
Up to £45,000 salary is available dependant on length of service and the value of work they can bring to the business, this may be exceeded after been monitored in your probationary period. There is an exclusive company vehicle available or an healthy car allowance.
This is a full time PAYE position and working hours are 07:30-17:00hrs 5days (1hr lunch).
