GlobalX Partners, sister company to Alpha Recruitment, is recruiting for an Executive Researcher/Assistant to the Managing Partner.
Our headquarters are in the recently regenerated Park Hill development in Sheffield. GlobalX Partners is an international management consulting firm that helps to optimise business performance through executive search, board & leadership recruitment, corporate intelligence and talent consulting. We are the trusted partner to an international portfolio of clients including Logistics, Maritime, Freight Forwarding, Shipping, Integrated Logistics, 3PL and Supply Chain organisations.

GlobalX & Alpha have ambitious development plans, we currently have 14 employees at our head office and want to double this in the next 18-24 months. To do this, we need the best team possible to deliver what our clients expect from us.
No day is the same in recruitment, so the projects you will work on could range from solving a client’s issues on a construction development to sending last-minute temporary workers to a warehouse or to recruiting a CEO for an international multi-billion pound corporation- it really is that varied!
You will help to manage the day-to-day movements of the Managing Partner, participate in research tasks, engage with clients & partners as well as managing a database. This is a varied and challenging role, which requires you to be able to deliver at pace, communicate and collaborate effectively and pay attention to detail.

Key responsibilities include:
• Supporting the Managing Partner in his diary management.
• Leverage and maximize the full potential of his networks- with over 15,000 direct connections all over the world, we feel there is lots of untapped potentials hidden within.
• Reorganising and coordinating contacts and database to ensure a streamlined process is in place moving forward.
• Represent the brand professionally across a varied range of connections all over the globe.
• Assist the Managing Partner in his searches for executives and the filling of temporary vacancies we receive from our clients.
• Keep ahead of the market- always have an eye on what’s happening in our chosen markets and educate yourself on our clients and their needs.
• Build and maintain databases of our clients and candidates.
To be a success in this role you must be:
• Proficient in working with Microsoft Office365.
• Experienced in using LinkedIn.
• Outgoing, open-minded and not afraid of a challenge. We work in recruitment remember, things don’t always go according to plan
• Able to solve problems and think on your feet.
• Flexible, again we deal with people in a very demanding environment. Sometimes it’s not always “0900 – 1700”.
• Able to develop and maintain relationships with senior leadership and a wide range of stakeholders.
