- Description
In this role you will support the work of the site manager and take responsibility for the health and safety function associated with all areas of work.
You will also support a small team in the developing, implementing, maintaining and reviewing of health and safety strategies, policies and training.
Applicants will have/be:
- Have at least 2 years working at heights regulations.
- Minimum NEBOSH Qualification.
- Experience in dealing with health and safety issues on a regular basis;
- Experience in delivering health and safety training (Toolbox Talks)
- Will have experience working on Power stations/ Energy for waste constructions
- Ability to prioritise own workload and work to deadlines without direct supervision; and
- excellent communication, interpersonal and motivational skills with employees and managers at all levels, internally and external to the organisation.
The role also requires you to Complete tasks such as :
- Attend weekly site meetings
- Daily site walk round including roofs
- Accident/ incident reporting
- reviewing RAMS
- Conducting weekly toolbox talks
- Working hours 7am-5pm Monday to Friday with Alternate Saturday Working
