Site Foreperson

Our client is one of the UK’s most successful vacant property security and environmental property services companies. They specialise in a full range of property services including security, protection and environmental waste clearance plus extreme cleaning, bio-hazard removal and crime scene clean-up. Being established for over 20 years they have built up a trusted and recognised brand name.

Due to an increase in orders, they are looking to recruit a site foreperson to work from Hull. The Main focus of the role will be to responsible for scheduling, co-ordinating and supervising the work of all site operatives, ensuring that all work is delivered safely on time and within budget along with managing equipment and materials required.

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• liaising with clients and reporting progress, professional staff (such as architects and surveyors ) and the public
• supervising contracted staff
• oversee and liaise with subcontractors
• making safety inspections and ensuring construction and site safety
• checking and preparing site reports, designs and drawings
• maintaining quality control procedures
• motivating the workforce
• problem solving
• using specialist construction management computer applications.
• Meet agreed specifications as per drawings.

Special requirements for this role include:

• Full and current UK driving license
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Background within Plumbing, Drainage and/or Sewage

As Site Foreperson you can expect working hours to be 8am to 5:30pm, Monday to Friday with the prospect to cover the occasional Saturday.
