- Description
- Meeting with client teams and residents to investigate and evaluate level of defects from practical completion through to making good of defects.
- Responsibility for closing out contract defects within specific time criteria depending on severity.
- Be the catalyst in triggering Making good of defects to expediate sign off process.
- Be main point of contact and organise any emergency defects.
- Plan and coordinate existing subcontractors to rectify any latent defects including relevant notifications in line with company procedure.
- Plan and coordinate new subcontractors to rectify any new defects.
- Be responsible for internal labour allocation.
- Organise materials as necessary.
- Provide labour to rectify any minor defects.
- Provide internal and external administration to allow proper communication and record keeping.
- Provide contra charge details and information to relevant QS to allow cost recovery.
- Produce payment draw sheets for subcontractors where original project QS has left the company.
SMSTS
Must have a Housing/Residential Background and a keen eye for detail
