Alpha Recruitment are pleased to be partnering with a multifaceted Construction Company in their search for a Quantity Surveyor.
The work will be a combination of New Build, Refurb and Fit-Out in Commercial, Industrial and residential settings.
The role will initially be remote and when circumstances allow, will be a mixture of home working and time in the office.
The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate previous experience in the following areas:
- Preparation of tender submissions, budgets, bills of quantities and similar tender documentation.
- Preparation of Sub-contracts and purchase orders.
- Pricing and forecasting the cost of the construction including labour, materials and plant.
- Track changes to the design and/or construction work and adjust budget projections accordingly.
- Procurement and commercial management of sub-contractors.
- Assess and agree monthly sub-contract valuations.
- Submit and agree monthly client applications for payment.
- Produce Cash Flow forecasts for each project.
- Liaise with the client and other construction professionals, such as site managers, project managers and site engineers.
- Wages/Payroll.
