Loft insulation installer

The Role: Our client is a specialist provider of insulation services throughout the UK, with a large client base. We are looking to recruit experienced loft insulation installers to carry out works on a project in Grimsby.

What we require: All applicants will require their own transport, a valid CSCS Card, previous experience, PPE and own tools. You must be fully qualified/time served and be able to provide 2 references.

Main Duties:

• Fitting loft insulation, lagging pipes/tanks and draughtproofing hatches
• Loading insulating material – wool and fibreglass into the van and driving to the site
• Using a hand-held drill, bore a set pattern of holes in the wall, drilling from the outside in old buildings and from the inside in new buildings
• Operating a machine to pump or blow the insulating material into the cavity between the walls
• Checking that you have filled the whole cavity
• Re-pointing the drill holes to match the existing external mortar and cleaning up

Important Information: 8 hours a day, Monday to Friday
