WELDERS WANTED ASAP!!!
Our well established client, based in YO7 area are currently recruiting for Welders and are interested in candidates who have experience in:
- Maintaining a safe working environment by only adopting safe working practices and ensuring that housekeeping is of the highest standard.
- Carrying out prior to use safety inspection, record and report any adverse actions / conditions.
- Understanding welding information presented via drawings, welding procedure data sheets and specifications. Determining the appropriate welding processes and other process requirements.
- Producing multi and single run fillet welds, full and part penetration butt welds in accordance with welding procedure specifications
- Operating pre and post heating equipment in accordance with welding procedure specifications
- Planning welding sequences to ensure that components are correctly welded, so distortion is minimised.
- Identifying welds with operator’s ID code.
- Carrying out self-inspection of welds including any necessary repairs.
- Working to production deadlines
- Lifting, turning, manipulating and moving heavy loads with cranes
- Candidates should be time-served or possess the equivalent fabrication standards through experience.
This is a Temp to Perm Opportunity after 13 weeks!
Working Week & Hours: DAY SHIFT
Monday-Thursday (7AM-5.30PM)
Fridays (7AM-1PM)Pay: £13.98ph
