Job description
Alpha Recruitment are looking for a Mechanical Fitters to start work in a workshop environment. This role will be ideal for people with a Fabricating, Welding or Engineering background within a manufacturing environment.
The Role:
- Constructing and assembly of mechanical machinery using power tools.
- Fabrication of steel and arc welding
- Fitting gas pipework
Essential requirements:
- Mechanical assembly of fabricated and machined parts according to engineering drawings and build instructions
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in mechanical assembly
- Able to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings
- Able to follow all Company Policies and Procedures
- Ability to ensure work is completed in a timely and effective manner
Job Description:
- Start date: ASAP
- Rate: Basic - £13ph, Overtime - £17.55ph
- over time on a Saturday -£20.25
- Duration: Temp to perm
- Hours: Monday - Thurs: 7.30am-3.30ph, Friday: 7.30am-2.30pm
- Requirements: Engineering background is beneficial

- Be able to provide 2 references
- Previous experience essential
