Labourer

Alpha Recruitment are looking for a labourer looking for our prestigious client based in Sheffield, S75. Our client is a world class, multi-disciplined mechanical engineering solution provider, with core competencies in structural protection and movement control (e.g. bridges, expansion joints etc).

This role is temporary to permanent where training is provided and offers fantastic career progression. Successful candidates can expect, over time, to be entered into full training programmes, e.g. Site Supervising / Site Management.

Due to our client having multiple contracts across the UK, candidates must be able to work away on a regular basis - Accommodation and expenses will be paid for.

The ideal candidate will have the following:

CSCS card (essential)

Own transport (essential)

When working away, 10 hours are guaranteed, and all overtime is paid accordingly after 40 hours midweek and weekends.

Rates of pay are as follows:

Basic: £11.30ph - £13.50ph depending on experience (up to 40 hours midweek)

Overtime 1: Time + a half (after 40 hours midweek and first 5 hours on a Saturday)

Overtime 2: Double time (minimum 5 hours on a Saturday, all hours worked on a Sunday and bank holidays)

Working away: Accommodation paid for by the client and £25 per day for expenses.

Additional: Use of company van to travel to and from sites.

Valid Photo ID

Previous experience essential

Be able to provide 2 references
