Assistant Buyer

Alpha Recruitment are looking for an assistant buyer to begin work for a client based in Derbyshire

```Duties```

- Assist the buyer in the procurement and purchasing process of drylining materials for

- Research and identify potential suppliers and vendors

- Obtain quotes and negotiate prices with suppliers

- Collaborate with internal teams to determine product requirements and specifications

- Create purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods

- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels

- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to inform purchasing decisions

- Assist in analyzing sales data to identify product performance and trends

```Skills```

- Proficiency in SAP

- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing and terms with suppliers

- Knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes

- Ability to analyse data and make informed decisions based on market trends

- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal teams and external suppliers

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to maintain accurate records

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
