Thermal Insulation Engineers

Our Client: is a leading company which offer a range of services from Asbestos Removal specialists to Thermal Insulation contractors, ranging from work in cryogenics to steam and all forms of ventilation work within the commercial and industrial markets.

Alpha Recruitment are currently seeking Thermal Insulation Engineers for commercial development in Sheffield.

These positions are on behalf of a highly established Insulation contractor, that operates within the Commercial and Industrial Sector throughout the UK.

Duties will include:

- Fit, wrap, or attach insulating materials to pipe work surfaces following drawing/specifications.
- Install/repair insulating materials within manufacturing areas, external areas, ceilings, or walls, using correct materials and tools.
- Read drawings and select appropriate insulation, based on the heat retaining or excluding characteristics of the material.
- Measure and cut insulation for covering surfaces, using appropriate hand tools.
- Perform basic fabrication work, including aluminium cladding.                                                                                                                                           - metal Ducting.                                                                                                                                                                                                                      - Heating and Ventilation.

Further information:
Working hours: 9 hours per day  Monday to Friday. (Saturdays available)

What we require: 

All applicants will require a valid CSCS Card, full PPE, and previous experience. You must be fully qualified/time-served and be able to provide 2 references.
