Quantity Surveyor

Alpha Recruitment are looking for a Quantity Surveyor with a house build background to begin work for our client on a permanent basis. This will be a hybrid role of working in the office as well as at home.

Roles & responsibilities:

● Review bills of quantities prepared by 3rd estimators
● Prepare tender and contract documents for take offs
● Perform risk, value management and cost control
● Regular review of supply chain lead times
● Procure ahead of lead times to ensure programmes are ahead of schedule
● Review subcontractor tenders with rate checks for materials, labour and plant
● Issue orders to subcontractors using the company order templates
● Review and value subcontractor valuation applications
● Submit subcontractor valuation applications for approval to quality audit department
● Maintain subcontractor payment application, payment notice and payless notice trackers
● Agreement and certification of subcontractor final accounts
● Maintain and develop sub-contractor preferred database

Job Description:

• Start date: ASAP
• Hours: 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday

Requirements:

● 3 years minimum experience as a Quantity Surveyor

● Experience in Residential Construction

● Knowledge of RIBA Stages 3-6
