Plans for 24-hour electric vehicle charging station near Pocklington
An electric vehicle charging station could be coming to Pocklington if recently-submitted plans get the go-ahead.
Plans for the station, in Barmby Moor's Cliff Park off the A1709, have been lodged with East Riding Council. They include building 10 bays to charge electric vehicles and the plans propose opening the facility 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Read more here

Ashford Studios construction set to start Summer 2023

McLaren replaces McAlpine on £200m Excel expansion job
ExCeL London has appointed McLaren Construction to finish the expansion of its conference, event and exhibition facilities.
McLaren will take over the job from Sir Robert McAlpine who were awarded the Phase 3 expansion enabling works contract last October and have been on site since March after building the first two phases of the exhibition centre.
